Blaine boys' track tops Mount Baker, Friday Harbor

The Blaine boys' track team had an impressive showing on Thursday, April 25, winning 8 of 16 events at Mount Baker High School.

Brad Whitley, Tom Bradley and James Fakkema led the way for Blaine, each contributing to wins in multiple events. Whitley helped the Borderites to wins in the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays. Bradley also ran a leg in the 4x400 meter relay while also winning the 3,200, and Fakkema took home wins in the shot put (34-07.00), javelin (136-08) and 4x100 relay.

Mount Baker only saw wins in four events, with Nathan Dunford leading the group with wins in the pole vault (15-06.00) and high jump (5-02.00).
