Hawk, Lummi defeat Darrington 16-5

The Lummi baseball team had 15 hits in its 16-5 win over Darrington in six innings at home Thursday, April 25.

"We hit the ball well," Lummi coach Jim Sandusky said in a phone interview. "Eagle Hawk did a great job in the first two innings. It was his first time being on the mound and he had very good control."

Hank Hoskins ended the game with a three-run home run and went 3 for 3 in the game.

Charlie Wilson went 4 for 5 and Eli Wall went 2 for 4.

Lummi hosts Cedar Park Christian on Friday, April 26.
