Lyncs have dominant showing, taking 13 of 18 events

The Lynden Christian girls' track team dominated the field of six on Tuesday, April 23, winning 13 of 18 events at Lynden Christian High School.

Brianna Bruneau helped the Lyncs bring home wins in two events, including the 100 and 4x200. Emily Sytsma was the only three-event winner for Lynden Christian, taking home wins in the 200, 400 and 4x100.

Sally Vlas took home top marks in the triple jump with a mark of 29-09.50 while also running in the winning 4x100 relay team.

Both Madison Burke and Madison Weg also won two events or the Lyncs. Both ran in the 4x100 meter relay while Burke won the long jump and Weg won the high jump.

Hannah Wynstra was the only field athlete for Lynden Christian to win two events, as she topped the field in the discus (95-05) and javelin (112-00).
