The Bellingham girls' tennis team earned a 7-0 win over Lynden at home in a Northwest Conference match Monday, April 22.
"I thought our doubles teams were very solid today," Bellingham coach Steve Chronister said in a phone interview. "They really had some stretches of good sustained play and I was very pleased with them."
Kate Troutman and Cari Pearsall from Bellingham (3-0 NWC, 9-0) defeated Morgan Otter and Tilly Timmer 6-4, 6-1 in the first doubles match.
Catie Welch and Tess Owen won 6-1, 6-1 over Kelly Fiebig and Bailee Mulder from Lynden (0-3 NWC, 1-7).
Bellingham will finish a previous match with Sehome on Tuesday, April 23, that was shortened due to inclement weather, while Lynden hosts Blaine in a Northwest Conference match.
