Sehome wins 7-0 over Golden Eagles

The Sehome girls' tennis team won every match to defeat Ferndale 7-0 in a Northwest Conference match at home Monday, April 22.

"It went really well considering we haven't played in almost a week and they came back and played really strong today," Sehome coach Bonna Giller said in a phone interview. "I was really impressed. They were very business like. They got on the court and got the job done."

Nicola Morrow and Natalie Knops defeated Shelby Slaughter and Carly Bannerman 6-0, 6-0 in the third doubles match for Sehome (2-0 NWC, 8-0).

"The number three doubles played really well. They played well together and attacked the net and got open spaces," Giller said.
