Slam lose at Vancouver

The Bellingham Slam came out on the short end of a defensive slugfest as they lost at Vancouver 94-86 in an International Basketball League game Sunday, April 21, in Vancouver, B.C.

Forward Chas Kok and guard Jacob Stevenson shared the scoring lead for Bellingham with 19 points each.

Guard Paul Hafford led six Vancouver players in double figures with 16 points.

The Slam return home to face the Kitsap Admirals at 7 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Whatcom Community College.
