Says county library system is one of the best

COURTESY TO THE BELLINGHAM HERALDApril 22, 2013

The week of April 14-21 was National Library Week. This observation has been sponsored by the American Library Association since 1958. The theme this year is, "Communities matter @ your library."

Whatcom County has one of the best library organizations in the country. That is my opinion but I'm sure others would agree. Between Bellingham Public Library and the WCLS we are spoiled. Not only can you get books in print but also ebooks, books on tape, CDs, movies, computer classes, children's storytimes, help with homework and community programs. You also have the help of a great staff to help guide you through your searches and answer any questions.

Every day across the country, libraries open their doors to everyone: students, parents, seniors, teachers, writers, artists, job seekers, entrepreneurs, readers, gamers, movie lovers and travel buffs.

Come see what all the fuss is about.
