FREE: Revised guide details Snohomish hikes

April 21, 2013

Snohomish County is offering a free hiking guide, as well as an online hike of the week. The look at the county’s variety of trails – from easy saltwater beaches to challenging Cascade wilderness – were produced by hiking guide author Craig Romano for the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau

The free “Hiking in Snohomish County” brochure features 30 hikes and includes driving directions, topographical maps and a handy chart that lists each hike’s round-trip distance, difficulty rating, elevation gain, best season for each hike and closest community, said a news release from the bureau.

This is the third edition of the guide written by Craig Romano.

To get a copy of the guide, go to snohomish.org/informationandrequests or pick up a copy at one of the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau visitor information centers. For their locations, visit the website or call 425-348-5802. The online hike is available at snohomish.org.
