Bridge inspections to cause delays in Ferndale, Bellingham

Bridge inspections on Monday, April 22, and Tuesday, April 23, will close lanes and cause probable traffic delays in Ferndale and Bellingham.

Main Street Bridge in Ferndale will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

Tuesday in Bellingham, inspections will begin at 8 a.m. at Eldridge Avenue over Squalicum Way, followed by Holly Street at Whatcom Creek, then Chestnut Street and Bay Street.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane at all three bridges on Tuesday.
