The Bellingham boys' golf team shot a 386 to win in a Northwest Conference golf tournament Tuesday, April 16, at Grandview Golf Course.
"It went really well today and all of the Bellingham guys shot under their average and played well," Bellingham coach David Bobillot said in a phone interview. "They were ready to play and I think we were two off the school record today."
Cody Roth from Bellingham and Ryan Mouche from Lynden had the top scores after shooting a 74.
"Cody hit the ball well off the tee," Bobillot said. "He didn't putt that well but he finished three under on the last six holes."
Will McCarter led Sehome with a 79, Tanner Lester led Ferndale with an 82, Tyler Hoback led Squalicum with an 85 and Drake Vanderyacht led Meridian with a 93.
