The Bellingham boys' soccer team scored two goals in 10 minutes of a 2-0 win at Sedro-Woolley in a Northwest Conference match on Monday, April 15.
"We're happy with the result," Bellingham coach Matt Zigulis said in a phone interview. "It was a bit scrappy in the first half. Sedro really worked hard and made chances and we had trouble dealing with their pressure. In the second we were able to find our rhythm and got a couple goals from it."
Conlon Kiffney scored in the 47th minute off a pass from Brad Dale. Dale then converted a free kick 10 minutes later for the Red Raiders (7-0-1 NWC, 11-0-1).
"Brad had a good game in the middle for us," Zigulis said. "Our guys in the middle were always threatening and did a good job."
Bellingham travels to Anacortes Wednesday, April 17, for a Northwest Conference game.
