Seeing the need for a regional enduro cycling series, Washington state cycling industry and advocacy organizations have created the Cascadia Dirt Cup, a new five-race series to take place between June and October.
The series aims to produce high-quality races while donating proceeds from each race to its advocacy and trail maintenance partners: The Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, Friends of Capitol Forest, Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition and the Olympic Dirt Society.
This year’s venues will blend climbing and descending in a single-day, multi-stage event. The series will include pre-existing races at Capitol State Forest and Tiger Mountain, and add events at Yacolt Burn (permit pending), Port Angeles Dry Hill and Bellingham area trails (permit pending).
