The Meridian girls' track and field team won 10 events in a Northwest Conference double dual meet with Lynden Christian and Nooksack Valley on Wednesday, April 10, in Lynden.
The Lyncs won seven events and the Pioneers won one.
Taylor Lunde won four events for the Trojans. Lunde won the 400 with a time of 1 minute, 3.53 seconds and the triple jump with a mark of 31 feet, 11 inches. Lunde was also part of the winning 4x100 relay team that had a time of 52.49 and the 4x200 relay team that had a time of 1:50.67.
Hannah Wynstra led the Lyncs with two wins in the discus and javelin. Wynstra had a mark of 105-1 inch for the javelin and 99-8.75 for the discus.
Alex Parson had the only win for the Pioneers by earning a mark of 16-3 in the long jump.
