The Ferndale baseball team pulled out a gritty 8-6 Northwest Conference win at Burlington-Edison on Monday, April 1.
Brady Bauthues picked up his third win of the season on the mound while also helping his cause at the plate with a strong 3-for-5 day with a run and an RBI.
Ferndale (7-4, 3-0 NWC) scored all eight runs in a four-inning stretch starting in the third and ending in the sixth.
"We got a lead, and then they came back and answered, and then we came back and just kept answering," Ferndale coach Donny Hennigs said in a phone interview. "It was production throughout the whole line up."
Colin Wagner had a productive day at the plate for Ferndale with two doubles and two RBI.
The Golden Eagles next host Sedro-Woolley on Monday, April 8.
