Virginia Creekman - 90th Birthday Virginia Creekman will be spending her 90th birthday with her Lynden family (Laura Creekman and husband, Don McQuarrie) who will be joined by Navy Captain Todd Creekman (ret.) and his wife Debbie, who currently reside in Washington DC. Virginia was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated high school and attended college there. She met her future husband, Ensign Charles Creekman in 1946, and thus began a life as a Navy wife, moving every three years, wherever the Navy sent them. When Charles retired as a Captain from the Navy, Virginia went to work and shortly found herself manager of a local arts and crafts store in Virginia Beach. This led to her own business of designing counted cross-stitch patterns. Especially of Williamsburg, Virginia and other east coast landmarks. Her company logo of, "Tidewater Originals", can still be seen on many patterns commonly available. She has always enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting and crocheting. She moved to Lynden in 1996 to be closer to her Lynden family and lives at Meadow Greens. She has 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
