On this ten-year anniversary of "Shock and Awe," I remember being very sad that day, knowing that this war against the people of Iraq who had nothing to do with 9-11 would be a tragic, immoral and costly mistake. I was called unpatriotic by the George W. Bush warmongers but I knew I was right. I am convinced that the Iraq war that is impoverishing us now was a war crime by all of those who lied and forced it on us. No wonder we are squabbling over funds for basic things such as roads, bridges and people on food stamps. The costs of Bush's two huge tax cuts as well as our obligations to our veterans and rebuilding our broken military are in the trillions. It is time to ask serious questions about the war criminals and lapdog media who got us into this mess.
