The Bellingham girls' tennis team defeated Blaine 7-0 in a non-conference match at home Tuesday, March 26.
It was the 100th win in 101 matches for Bellingham and 42nd straight.
Kate Troutman and Cari Pearsall defeated Emily Grayston and Alex Henderson in the first doubles match 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.
"It was a really exciting match for Kate and Cari with both teams going back and forth," Bellingham coach Steve Chronister said in a phone interview. "The third set Blaine jumped out 3-0 and Kate and Cari buckled down and ran off six in a row. It wasn't easy but it was a close game."
Kara Burns defeated Renee Uruchurtu 6-0, 6-0 in the third singles match for Bellingham.
