Mason County Parks Department is looking for campground hosts at Oakland Bay County Park.
The park covers 82 areas, including open space, trails and a picnic area. Park managers describe it as the county’s “premier passive park.” The park is right on Oakland Bay and Malaney Creek.
The park host is needed to open and close the site, provide security, light maintenance and monitor ADA access.
The parks department is recruiting hosts for April-October. The county will provide the host an RV site, water and power at no charge. Park hosts need their own camper, trailer, or motor home. It must be self-contained.
