"I think we started slow and they took control early and finished it early," Lynden coach Trey Ballard said in a phone interview. "I was really proud of my doubles at the second and third spot for playing really tough matches."

Alex Schulhauser and Kelsey Hewson won 6-3, 6-1 in the second doubles match to get a win for Lynden.

Morgan Braithwaite and Bridget Johnson won the third doubles match 6-1, 6-1 for the Lions.
