Brad Dale had a hand in all four Bellingham goals, helping the Red Raiders top Lynden Christian 4-2 on Friday, March 22, in a Northwest Conference match at Northwest Field.
"Brad and Conlon (Kiffney), together, really were the difference makers today," Bellingham coach Matt Zigulis said in a phone interview.
Trevor Kamena got the Lyncs out to an early lead in the 20th minute. Dale gave the Red Raiders their first lead after he scored two unanswered goals over a 12 minute stretch until Lynden Christian's Cody Fransen knotted the score at the 47-minute mark.
"LC came out hard right from the beginning," Zigulis said. "We had trouble dealing with their pressure, but we did well to respond."
Both Bellingham (5-0-1 NWC, 2-0-1 overall) and Lynden Christian (1-2-0 NWC, 3-3-0 overall) play on Monday, March 26, with the Red Raiders traveling to Meridian, and the Lyncs hosting Mount Baker.
