After the sequestration went in to effect on March 1, I believe the White House put out memo that said "make sure that the most high-profile, painful cuts that would reverberate through the public would happen." One small example of that was the canceling of the White House tours.

Remember four years ago when the president spoke about the "fundamental transformation of America?" We now have four years of evidence of what I believe he meant: the remaking America by going from being a self-sufficient society based on individual freedom and free market economics to a European-style socialist welfare state. I believe he accomplished this by attacking the four pillars of capitalism: the industrial base, the health care, energy and financial sectors.

He has succeeded far beyond his expectations. We have experienced four years of $1 trillion-plus annual deficits adding a record (for four years) $6 trillion to the federal debt.

The president is not incompetent or naive, I believe he knows exactly what he is doing. I believe his vision for America is about remaking America into a European socialist model.
