The Sehome girls' tennis team won every match at Blaine in a non-conference match Thursday, March 21.
"It was a pretty sound win for Sehome," Blaine coach John Freal said in a phone interview. "I think our girls played hard but they just had too much fire power."
Andrea Clawson defeated Saskia Dolk 6-0, 6-0 in the first singles matchup for the Mariners (2-0).
Kristen Chalmers and Jane Clawson defeated Mandy Hayes and Emily Roe 6-0, 6-1 in the second doubles match and Nicola Morrow and Natalie Knops won 6-1, 6-1 over Lily Olason and Christy Khoury for Sehome.
Blaine (2-1) travels to South Whidbey on Friday, March 22, for a non-conference match while Sehome hosts Burlington-Edison.
