The Lynden girls' golf team dealt with the horrid conditions at the Homestead Farms Golf Resort the best, leading the six-team field with relative ease on Thursday, March 21.
Lynden's Emily Ming led all golfers with a score of 29, followed closely by Meridian's Abbi Rautenberg, who scored 24.
"Our top two girls were fantastic in the terrible conditions," Lynden coach Scott Sahagian in a phone interview. "The course was incredibly wet, and it was nice seeing them play well in the muddy soup."
Young Lee and her 22 points helped Blaine secure a second place finish.
