Ferndale residents have until Monday, March 25, to register by mail or online - or change their address - for the April 23 election, if they haven't already registered to vote.
They also can do both in person at the Whatcom County Auditor's Office by 4:30 p.m. on the same date. The address is 311 Grand Ave., Suite 103, Bellingham, in the Whatcom County Courthouse.
Ferndale voters will decide whether to approve a $550,000 bond to help pay for a new Ferndale library. It needs to be approved by 60 percent or more of the voters to pass.
If it gets the OK, the owner of a $250,000 home would pay $11.86 a year in additional property taxes.
Details on how to register are at vote.wa.gov.
