The Nooksack Valley girls' track and field team hosted Meridian and Blaine in a Northwest Conference double dual meet Wednesday, March 20.
Not all events were held due to bad weather.
Blaine and Meridian each won six events and the Pioneers won three.
Taylor Lunde led Meridian with a win in the 100 with a time of 13.34 seconds. Lunde also won the high jump with a mark of 4 feet 10 inches, the triple jump with a mark of 29-10 and was part of the winning 4x100 relay team. The 4x100 relay team won in 55.12 seconds and included Trinell Carpenter, Leyla Marino and Janessa Murphy.
Hillary Kiele won the 400 for Blaine with a time of 1:13.76. Olivia Adams won the pole vault for the Borderites with a mark of 9 feet.
Alex Parson won the long jump for Nooksack Valley and had a mark of 16-06 and Parson was part of the winning 4x200 relay team that had a time of 1:59.63 with Brittney Passe, Camren Salmonson and Tori VandeHoef.
