The Lynden Christian boys' track and field team was able to defeat Lynden in a Northwest Conference meet at Lynden Christian High School on Wednesday, March 20.
The Lyncs scored 79 points and Lynden scored 65.
The Lions were led by Kayden Williams, who won the 100 in 12.10 seconds, and Jalani Phelps, who won the 200 with a time of 23.77.
Jordan Sterk won the triple jump for Lynden with a mark of 37 feet, 10.5 inches.
Lynden Christian was led by Tyler Reardon, who won the 400 in 55.19 and Jack Boersma, who won the 3,200 with a time of 13:00.78.
Weston Whitener won the pole vault with a mark of 10 feet and the long jump with a mark of 17-11.50.
