Thurston County home builders and real estate agents are feeling optimistic about the housing market. They have good reason: home sales rose by healthy double-digits for the first two months of the year. At the same time, the region’s jobless report indicates more people are finding work.

Good news breeds a positive outlook, and vice versa. Let’s hope this is the upswing we’ve all been waiting for.
