The Bellingham girls' tennis team rallied after losing its first three matches to Burlington-Edison, winning the final four to pull out the win Monday, March 18, at Bellingham High School.
Kara Burns led the comeback, defeating Lexie Carletti in two sets, 7-5 7-6 (7-5), in a match that turned the tide for the Red Raiders.
"Kara Burns was down two set points in the second set, and that was one of the real key wins," Bellingham coach Steve Chronister. "We were a little bit lucky and a little bit good today."
The win was Bellingham's 40th dual match win in a row. The Red Raiders next play Lynden on Wednesday, March 20.
