Co-coaches: Kevin Ryan and Tim Carlson

Returning state participants: Reed Henderson (sr. 800), Conner Johnsen (sr. 1,600, 3,200), Chris Wilson (jr. 110 hurdles), Nick Saupe (so. 4x100), Malik Williams (sr. 4x100), Blaise Black (jr. pole vault)
Others to watch: Dylan Anderson (sr. pole vault), Bo Banner (sr. sprints), Drew Norvell (so. throws), Kirby Overman (so. distance), Noah Ringler (jr. mid-distance), David Roy (so. jumps), Liam Toney (sr. distance), Tanner Clark (so. sprints), Tyler Haggen (so. throws), Nolan Jones (so. distance), Trevor Northrop (jr. mid-distance), Austin Rapp (sr. throws), Taylor Rapp (fr. sprints), Daniel Ziegler (jr. sprints)
Outlook: Sehome will be relatively young in terms of experience this year, but Ryan said the team has an influx of new talented boys joining the team. The one area where the Mariners will have plenty of battle-tested talent will be the distance and middle distance events, where Henderson, Johnsen and a number of other members of Sehome's state championship cross country team should excel. "We will rely strongly on the distances and pole vault for points early, as our new sprint and throw talent develops," Ryan said in an email. Ryan said he expects the team to be strong in dual meet competition, and it has the potential to compete for the conference championship and possibly even bring home a trophy from state this year.
