The Lynden boys' soccer team drew Lakewood 0-0 in a non-conference game at home Friday, March 15.
"It was a good game and both teams played well," Lynden coach Drew Smiley said in a phone interview. "Lakewood is a good team so it was really positive."
Hector Gutierrez was able to earn the shutout for the Lions.
"Hector was really good in the net," Smiley said. "It was a pretty even game with not a whole lot of opportunities and a good battle."
