Olson, Lyncs shoot best score in LC history

The Lynden Christian boys' golf team defeated Bellingham, Ferndale, Mount Baker, Squalicum and Nooksack Valley at a non-conference tournament at North Bellingham Golf Course on Thursday, March 14.

Lynden Christian scored 393, Bellingham 405, Ferndale 450, Mount Baker 470, Squalicum 497 and Nooksack Valley 576.

"That was the best score in Lynden Christian school history," Lynden Christian coach Dana Hagen said in a phone interview. "It was fantastic."

The Lyncs were led by Luke Olson, who shot the best score of the event, with a 75.
