The Lynden boys' golf team defeated Burlington-Edison, Sedro-Woolley, Sehome, Anacortes, Blaine and Meridian in a non-conference golf tournament at Skagit Golf and Country Club on Thursday, March 14.
"It went pretty well even though it was wet and windy," Lynden coach Russ Dorr said in a phone interview. "The greens were pretty quick but it was OK for a first match. It worked out well and it's good to have the first match over with on a tough course."
Lynden shot a 413 to earn the win. Burlington-Edison shot 443, Sedro-Woolley 446, Sehome 469, Anacortes 482, Blaine 491 and Meridian 524.
