Meridian's girl's track team topped both Lynden and Sedro-Woolley in a double dual-meet Thursday, March 14, at Meridian High School.
Meridian's Taylor Lunde won both the long-jump and triple-jump events, while also running in the Trojans' 4x100 relay. Meridian won nine events on the day.
Lynden's Alexa Shindruk cruised to an easy win in the 3,200 meter race, topping second place by 1 minute and 39 seconds. Kendra Hack grabbed a win for Lions in the 300 meter hurdles, and Shelby Jacob won top marks in the javelin.
