Lyncs win 11 events over Pioneers and Mountaineers

The Lynden Christian boys' track team won 11 events in its non-conference meet against Nooksack Valley and Mount Baker at Mount Baker High School on Thursday, March 14.

Weston Whitener won the 100 meter for the Lyncs in 11.69 seconds and Sam Vander Griend won the 200 meter in 24.38.

Conner Beard won the high jump for the Pioneers with a mark of 5 feet 2 inches, and Luke VandeHoef won the javelin with a mark of 130-2.

Mount Baker earned wins in the 3,200 meter from Dillon Quintana with a time of 10:27.53, and the pole vault from Nathan Dunford with a mark of 13 feet.
