The Mount Baker boys' soccer team defeated Lynden Christian 4-2 on Thursday, March 14, at Mount Baker High School.
After jumping ahead 2-0, the Mountaineers allowed two LC goals before scoring twice in the second half to seal the win.
"It was pretty nasty out there, and Baker brought a really high energy today," said Lynden Christian coach Brent De Ruyter in a phone interview. "They really capitalized when they had opportunities, and we didn't come with the energy (we needed)."
