Bellingham scores five in the seventh to trounce Oak Harbor, 14-11

Published: March 15, 2013

The Bellingham boys' baseball team defeated Oak Harbor 14-11 on Thursday, March 14, at Oak Harbor High School.

After trailing 10-9 entering the top of the seventh, the Red Raiders strung together four consecutive hits and plated five runs to pull out the win.

"Offensively, we feel pretty happy about what we did today," Bellingham coach David Farrell said in a phone interview. "Our pitching is a bit behind, and we walked eight guys today, so that didn't help out our cause much."

Bellingham's Oscar White keyed the seventh inning rally with a two-run double to cap his two-hit, three-RBI day.
