Says sequester fault of president

Published: March 15, 2013

And now our nation debates the sequester. Looking back, we note the president proposed the sequester, for whatever reason. The president signed the sequester into law, for whatever reason. The president lays the blame on Republicans. Our government has three branches: the president, the judiciary and the Congress. The president's party owns the presidency (obviously). Republicans "own" the House, Democrats "own" the Senate. The House debated and offered a way out of the president's sequester. The millionaires Senate decided to "await a quorum," or I believe, in layman's terms, side-stepped the issue. Thus the president was left with the choice of signing his own sequester bill or vetoing his own brainchild. Without fail national media will cast all blame on Republicans, they'll agree with the president when he says, "The devil (Republicans) made me do it."
