BELLINGHAM - Advance orders are due by Monday, March 11, for the 20th annual Native Plant Sale, which takes place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Whatcom Community College, 237 W. Kellogg Road.
Whatcom Conservation District is accepting advance orders for native plants. There is a $100 minimum purchase required, with a 50 percent deposit due upon placement.

About 40 different species of native, bareroot trees and shrubs along with a variety of potted perennials are being sold this year.
Plants also will be sold at the March 23 event, on a first-come first-served basis.
The event, which will be at the college's Roe Pottery Studio, will feature educational demonstrations, environmental organizations, entertainment, food and nurseries.
