BIRCH BAY - A children's consignment store that focuses on higher-end clothing, furniture, strollers and toys is opening Thursday, March 7.
Katie's Corner, named after one of the owners, Katie Montague, will offer new and gently used items, including maternity clothing. Montague and business partner Gina Weigum believe there is a need for this kind of shop in the community.
"The support and consigned items from our customers has been amazing," Weigum said in a press release.
Katie's Corner is at 4823 Alderson Road, Suite 105, next to The C Shop. Once open, hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For details, call 360-778-3795.
