Transparency is badly needed from the jail planning committee. I believe the $3 million annual revenue from the tax we voted for to fund construction of this new jail has been squandered. Please, County Council members, take back the reins and show some leadership. You depend on our vote and we need you to demand transparency and the opportunity for public comment on our behalf.
