BELLINGHAM - A Bellingham naturopathic doctor is having an open house to celebrate his practice's 30th anniversary.
Mark Steinberg's practice will host the event from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28. The office is at 1313 E. Maple St., Suite 102, near Boomer's Drive-In. Refreshments will be served as a way of thanking patients for their years of patronage, Steinberg said.
He said naturopathic medicine has come a long way since he started in 1983.
"Very few insurance companies would even accept it back then," he said.
