The Tahoma Audubon is holding its first online auction this month, featuring more than 60 pieces of nature-themed fine art.
The local chapter was the beneficiary of a local art gallery that went out of business in 2009, said Krystal Kyer, the chapter’s executive director. All the prints are numbered and signed. Some are artist proofs and others are originals.
The sale includes work from Robert Bateman, John Pitcher, Terry Isaac, Sueellen Ross, Charles Frace, Zella Schultz, Carl Brenders, Jon Van Zyle and Elton Bennett.
Other items in the auction includes trips, behind-the-scenes museum tour and gift cards.
Proceeds from the sale will support the chapter’s education programs and conservation efforts.
The “Take Wing” auction will run through Feb. 28. You can see the items at biddingforgood.com/takewing.
