The Whatcom Community College men's basketball team earned an 83-60 NWAACC North Division win Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Olympic College.

"It's a long trip for us so we got off to a slow start," WCC coach Chris Scrimsher said in a phone interview. "We played a lot better in the second half and played well on the defensive end."

The Orcas, with only three games remaining on the regular season, improved to 17-6 overall and 9-2 and second place in the North Division.

WCC hosts Everett at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20.
