Water! Are we going to paying more when that meter goes in at your house? That was the question posed to the mayor at our recent neighborhood meeting. We all believe we should conserve and pay our fare share but are concerned about what the outcome will be on our budgets and what will have to to be trimmed down to pay our monthly water bill. But, then it struck me, the proposed Cherry Point terminal will be using millions of gallons of water to spray down coal to send to China. The Chinese are now wearing gas masks and working/playing in huge bubbles covering their local areas. Why are we trying to conserve while our water is being used to send coal to China? Just a question, is there a good answer?
