Seattle performer's 'Human Jazz' blends dancing, acting, singing

For 30 years, Seattle's Christian Swenson has been evolving a form he calls "Human Jazz," the simultaneous playing of the body and voice in a fusion of dancing, acting and singing. The show, presented at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Presence Studio, 1412 Cornwall Ave., will present his most work, as well as some of his classic repertory, from throat-singing to a cappella medleys to "jazz cartoons" and Sufi poetry.
