Squalicum's Madi Krussow was the only gymnast from the Bellingham district team to place at the Northwest District Meet on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Sammamish High School, but the team qualified six for this week's state meet.

Krussow finished eighth in the floor exercise with a score of 9.2.

She qualified for state in the floor, the vault and the bars. Joining her will be Sehome's Zoe Bunnell on the bars and the balance beam and Bellingham Ellie Kindlund on the bars.

The state meet will be held Friday, Feb. 15, at the Tacoma Dome.
