Whether you’re forming your own team or going with a guide, an REI program Tuesday will help prepare you to safely summit Washington’s highest peak.
The 90-minute presentation by guides Rainier Mountaineering Inc. will cover preparation for a Mount Rainier climb. The discussion will include conditioning, trip planning, selecting necessary gear for a safe climb, route selection and guide options available on the 14,411-foot peak.
