I watched Steve Croft interview President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on "60 Minutes" last night.
One of the questions Mr. Croft posed to Barak and Hillary was, how do you put aside the acrimonious things that you said to one another during your respective primary campaigns in 2008?
Why is there such incredulity about two people who were at odds with one another putting aside their differences to work together for a common cause? People do it all the time and it is a good illustration of the resiliency of the human spirit.
I am very grateful that we have those two diplomats working together to help restore America's credibility with the global community.
