A recent letter writer said gun violence was not about guns but about people, and I agree there are a lot of demented people.
One, I think it was in Japan, went into a school with a knife and proceeded to stab children and any adults who got in his way. Statistics were: injured, 7; killed, 0. Compare that with our recent tragedies and tell us it's not about guns.
