Lummi girls' basketball loses to Muckleshoot

The Lummi girls' basketball team suffered a 55-10 non-conference loss to Muckleshoot Saturday, Jan. 26, at Muckleshoot.

Lena Buck scored four points, and Bella James added three points to lead the Blackhawks.

Lummi fell into an early hole, but Blackhawks coach Woody Bakke said he was proud his team never gave up.

"They played with their hearts out and played with a lot of passion," Bakke said in a phone interview.

The Blackhawks face Tulalip next at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29.
